Join our tour and start a journey through the flavors and colors of the Land of Sorrento aboard a typical train, along sinuous and panoramic roads that only the Sorrento Peninsula can offer!
In about 2 hours, we will visit a typical and historic citrus grove called “Il Pizzo”, an eighteenth-century dwelling and the only example of a perfect mix of gardens, lemon groves and historic Villa, where lemon trees are grown mainly with traditional techniques typical of Sorrento gardens. In this way, a fruit of fundamental importance in the Mediterranean diet and of irreplaceable taste, is revalued.
Lemon, an extraordinary fruit known and appreciated on world markets for over two centuries, is cultivated by expert farmers who in this way become true custodians of the agricultural and natural landscape.
Together with our guide you will discover the ancient cultivation techniques and will taste all the products of this amazing territory, including: orange and lemon marmalade on toast, bruschetta with olive oil, freshly squeezed lemon and orange juice and other small delicacies to finally return to the Sorrento station along sunny roads with fruit trees and with a breathtaking view.
Daily departures from Sorrento railway Station: 9:15 a.m / 11:15 a.m
