How to reach Amalfi Coast:
You have 2 options:
From Naples or Sorrento you can reach Positano with Sita Bus and then in Positano, you can change bus to Amalfi and/or Ravello or you can use a
private transfer by luxury car or a private water taxi service
Amalfi, Spiaggia del Duoglio: it can be reached with 400 steps, perfect for renting water sports equipment
Praiano, Fiordo di Furore: an inlet between two very high rock coasts, Nordic charm in the Mediterranean
Positano, Laurito: particular because it is both sandy and rocky, nestled between the mountain
Amalfi, S. Andrea Cathedral: open every day, free admission is granted during functions, and an entrance ticket of 3 euros is required to access the Museum and the Cloister of Paradise.
Positano: Take a tour of the shops in the center and buy a piece of typical Positano ceramic
Ravello, Visit Villa Rufolo: a balcony overlooking the sea and the sky (open from 9 am to 9 pm. Adults 10 €, Reduced 7 €
May has always marked the beginning of the ferment for us. The days have warmed up and we can start going out on the boat. Just give the boats a little tidy up and in an instant we will feel the breeze on our skin and hair again.
Going to the Amalfi Coast from Sorrento is something we often do even in winter but we get there by land. From May we leave the road for a while and reach Amalfi and Positano by boat from Sorrento.
We like it because we love to see how the landscape of Sorrento changes to that of Amalfi. We like it because we can pass near the island of Li Galli, so small, beautiful and mysterious. We like it because we love seeing the colors of the houses in Positano from the sea, which seem painted, or the profile of Amalfi that seems to stretch out over the sea.
We like it because even going out on a boat every day, the colors of the sky and the sea are always different and even if for us visiting the Amalfi Coast is a daily thing, we fall in love every day. And yes we are lucky and since beauty is more beautiful when shared, we always hope that as many people as possible can see the Amalfi Coast from the sea and fall in love like us.
